Chidambaram reviews security ahead of Games

Union Home Minister P Chidambaram today reviewed the security ahead of the Commonwealth Games with senior Delhi Police officials.
Chidambaram was closeted in a nearly two-hour long meeting with Delhi Police Commissioner Y S Dadwal, all the DCPs and other senior officials, sources said.
Earlier in the day, Delhi Police said security forces have fully taken over the Commonwealth Games venues and a fool-proof security blanket is in place.
Dadwal, who is commanding more than one-lakh security personnel including paramilitary forces and NSG commandos, had said every security aspect is being looked after.
