After a three month long cross-country journey, the Commonwealth Games Exhibition train will arrive here tomorrow before being opened for public viewing at Pragati Maidan railway station from September 29.
Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee had flagged off the train from Safdarjung Railway station on June 24. Railways are the lead partner of the Commonwealth Games.
Thereafter, the train travelled across the country, stopping at 45 stations for public viewing. Kota was the last stoppage of this 11-coach train.
Five coaches of this AC train are dedicated to sports and the Commonwealth Games and the remaining six coaches carry exhibits displaying the latest developments in Information Technology.
At Pragati Maidan station, it will be opened for public viewing till the end of the Games.
