Queen&aposs Baton Relay of the Commonwealth Games was accorded a warm welcome today by the people of Haryana as it reached Chautala village in Sirsa district after entering from Rajasthan.
Haryana Olympic Association (HOA) president P V Rathi, flanked by Sirsa MP Ashok Tanwar, received the Baton from Rajasthan Olympic Association president Janardan Singh Gehlot.
Large number of people showered flower petals en route to welcome the baton. Various cultural programmes were also held on the occasion.
