Miles away from their country, Botswanian athletes and officials today chilled out at Games Village and later left for their embassy to celebrate Botswana&aposs Independence Day.
"Today is our independence day and we are now headed to our embassy to celebrate it,"an official of the Botswanian delegation told media as he waited outside the village along with his team for their bus.
Asked if there was anything special for them today in the Village, an athlete said,"We just chilled out and had some great food."
Standing outside in the scorching sun, he added,"It is really hot out here. Botswana is also very hot but not like this.
