International Olympic Council President Jacques Rogge will be among the top dignitaries to attend the Commonwealth Games&aposopening ceremony at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here on October 3.
"Rogge will arrive in the national capital tomorrow night and will be present at the Games&aposopening ceremony on Sunday evening,"a CWG Organising Committee official told media.
Rogge will visit Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, hockey venue for the quadrennial event, on Saturday, the official said.
The IOC chief, however, will not go to the Games Village and was scheduled to leave the country on October 4.
